WEEKLY POULTRY MARKET REPORT
* The Canterbury Co-operative Egg, Poultry and Produce Company, Ltd 100 luam street, Cliristchurch, reports another very good entry of poultry for its usual saio on Saturday. There was a good attendance, and competition was very keen. A notable feature or late has been the good class of birds tliat are coming forward. The following are the sales : Killing poultry ■ Hens 2s 7d to 4s sd; ducks, to 8s 6d (according to quality); roosters, to 5s 8d (according to quality); pullets, 3s Sd to 5s M— all at per pair. Pedigree poultry : lWers, 4s 6d to 12s; htns, 4s to 8s; drakes. 8s 3d to 15s—all at Pf Pfv,,l^ and butter: Fresh ?J?P,> ls yW \ls 7 *d-> butter > 9d to 10^d per lb. Best Akaroa cheese, 5d to od per i'>.
