Messrs Millichamp and Sons, nurserymen, Carter's Terrace, Tinwald, show a fine and varied collection of shrubs, pot plants, field and garden trees and flowers of their own raising. Messrs Booth, MncDonald alid Company ni'tt Sho\Ving a varied and up-to-date collection of farm implements, which came m. for general admiration. Mr. T. H. Cavorsham, has on his on his stand a Cooper's shearing ma- j chino, and the "Little Wonder" bennine oil engine for driving the machine. Messrs Collins and Company have a comprehensive collection of . poultry requisites on exhibition, and these came m for no little attention on the part of poultry fanciers. The Government's'only entry m the show consists of a number of cases of dressed poultry for export purposes, illustrating how poultry should bo fattened and dressed to command attention m the Home markets. Mr W. T. Kingston's veterinary collection, of horse shoes, etc., is shown m a case, and, as at former shows, the exhibit is much admired. The Ashburton Rifles' bazaar committee exhibits several prizes which it is offering m the art union that is to be held m connection with tho corps m July. The high-class tailoring exhibit of Mr John Swanson, Burnett street, occupies a nice position m tho produce section, where it attracted considerable attention. Messrs G. and C. Clark, of Tinwald, have, as nt former shows, an exhibit of shrubs, flowers and products of the nursery. Mr F. Allsop is showing mounted pin-cushions, fashioned out of polished cows' hoofa. Miss Clark, of Tinwald, has a fine exhibit of artificial flowers; while the pupils of the Convent school have an exceptionally attractive collection of wood-carved articles on exhibition. The old-established firm of Reid and Gray, while exhibiting a few exhibits m the show, has its main collection m its own show room m Burnett, street. These include every description of farm implement, and m addition to those exhibited last year there are new disc ploughs and 'milking machines. The firm's display is equal to anything it has yet shown, and that is saying a good deal.
