Gonsi&er-Me trouble exists between a section, of Masons over the election of Grand Master, When Lord Chelmsford became Governor, it was suggested that'he should receive the position, but Mr Nesbitt, town -.clerk of Sydney, insisted that he had a prior claim, and informed Lord Chelmsford to that , effect;'/-Thef latter did not reply .to-the ' letter,' but sent it to the Grand Lodge. Subsequently the Governor complied "Hritb. the request of a deputation, but ito-day withdrew his name. Another candidate, therefore, was nominated to oppose Mr Nesbitt. ■ ■\",-.; Received June 10, 10.20 a.m. SYDNEY, June 10. . Deputy-Grand Master Montgomery Hamilton was elected Grand Master, ot the Masons; recieving 509 votes to Ises- . bitt's 191. . _j
