Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, June, 8. A meeting of representative Winton residents to-day discussed the proposed visit of Sir Joseph Ward to England, and passed' a very cordially-worded resolution of congratulation to the Government, and particularly the Pre? mier, on the decision come to by members yesterday. The meeting expressed pride m Sir Joseph Ward as the district's representative m Parliament. The motion concluded: "Awarua will watch your progress at Home; will share the honours conferred on you, and be ever ready to welcome you back." • ______„
