DUNEDIN, June 7, At a. meeting of the Otago Rugby Union to-night jt was resolved that "the Southland Union should be written to, stating that home-.and-home matches were to stop and only one match should be played iri 1910, that Canterbury and Wellington should be played annually, and that Auckland, Taranaki and Hawko's Bay should be played on the northern tour of 1912, provided that each'had before then visited Otago.
At a meeting of the Rugby Union I held last evening referees for this i jyeek's fixtures were appointed as folH.WS: Senior —Itakaia v. Methven at '\ Bsk^m on Wednesday, Mr F. Pritcharef, Tliursda-y'§ matches: Junior, Springbnrn v. Gross, at Ashburton at 1.45, Mr Qassolls.; Third Grade —Springbum v Higfi jSchool, at Ashburton at 1.45, Mr Turliil; Askburton f/ Cross, 3 p.m., Mr Robilliara. School matchesHigh School B v. Borougll A> Borough School ground, Mr Casse'is■» - High School v. Convent, High School ground, Mr Baird. In the third grade match Springburn v. Southern Cross the match was awarded to Springburn.
