CHRISTCHURCH, March 1. At the inquest on James Moran, who died from injuries received by a fall from the roof of a railway carriage on Saturday, the evidence showed that the carriage out of which the deceased was ejected was locked by a passenger with a pair of scissors. A verdict was returned of death from injuries received by falling off a train. • '
