The Council of Conciliation at the conclusion of its public sitting ;on Thursday went through the various clauses m the demands of the New Zealand Federated Bootmal||jrs' Association of Workers m order, ir possible, to arrive at a bpfiis for the settlement of the dispute. His tactful method of conducting the business of the Council has had the effect of maintaining the best feeling between the parties, and during no time was there any sign of irritation.
