Messrs Dalgety and Company have received the following cablegram from London, dated February 25: "The frozen meat market is wealf and the de-" mand limited. There is a fair demand for New Zealand lamb. We quote prime Canterbury, heavy sd; light sfd. Prime North Island, heavy, 4|d; light, 5-Jd. Australian, good average quality crossbred, heavy, 3|d; light, 4d. There is a limited demand for New Zealand mutton. We quote prime Canterbury, heavy? 3jd; light, 3Jd. Prime North Island, heavy, 3d; light, 3|d. Australian prime crossbred mutton, heavy, 2|d; light, 2fd. The market for New Zealand mutton is weak. There is a poor demand for New Zealand beef. We quote forequarters, 2fd; hindquarters, 3d. At the rabbitskin sales prices of New Zealand rabbitskins were Id per lb higher, Australian good winter id to Id-higher,, and other descriptions Jd to Id lower. Fourteen hundred and eighty bales were offered, and 1234 sold." *
