CHRISTCHURCH POULTRY AND PRODUCE SALE.
The Canterbury Co-operative Egg, Produce and Poultry Company reports a very good entry for its usual poultry sale on Saturday. There was another good attendance of buyers, and all prime lines were keenly competed for, and prices realised throughout were very satisfactory. The following are the sales: Roosters to 7s, according to quality; hens, 2s to 4s; ducks, 3s "3d to 5s 6d; pullets, 5s to 6s 7d; geese, 5s 9d to 7s—all at.per pair. Eggs and butter—Eggs, Is 2£d to Is 4£d per dozen; dairy butter, BJd to 9sd per lb; separator butter, 9^d to 10id per lb.
