The. Rev John Beckley Hughes, now for 35 years vicar of Stavcrton, Devonshire, and Mrs Hughes recently celebrated the sixty-first anniversary of their wedding day. Mr Hughes was born on June 13, 1817. Twelve foxes were recently disturbed by the Vine Hounds in Dean's Wood, near Overtoil. Fragments of turkeys, ducks, and chickens "were found' on the surface. It is stated that foxes meet sometimes in council.
