FARMERS CO-OPERATIVE ASSOCIATION.
There was a good attendance at the Farmers' Co-operative Association's ordinary weekly auction saleand prices were obtained as follow: Poultry.—Hens, 2s 4d per pair; roosters,'2s 9cl, 3s and 3s 6d per pair. Pigs sold at 16s 6d, 17s, 18s 6d, 19s, 19s 6ci, 20s, 20s 6d, £2 and £2 7s 6d each. Fruit. —Apples id, ljd and lsd per lb; pears l|d per lb; plums ljd to 2£d per lb; damsons 1-Jd per lb; greengages 1-Jd to lfld per lb. Produce.—Wheat 13s, and barley 10s 6d per sack. Horses. —One three-year-old colt brought £16. . A quantity of timber and sundries were sold at fair market rates.
