THE RHODES SCHOLARSHIP.
WELLINGTON,, February 23. The Rhodes scholar for 1909 'will be chosen to-morrow. His Excellency the Governor is chairman of the Board. The other members are:—Professor Segar (Auckland University), McKenzio (Victoria College), Chilton (Canterbury College), and Gilray (Otago University), with Sir Robert Stout, Chancellor of the New Zealand University, and his Honour, Mr Justice Cooper. There are five candidates for this year; namely, Messrs AY. G. Aid ridge (Auckland University College), Allan McDougall (Victoria College), Peter McOallum (Canterbury College), Hoster McLean (Otago University), and Bruce Morrison (Wanganui Collegiate School).
