THE RELIEF FUND.
WELLINGTON, February 24. Ilio Government lias decided to subscribe £1000 towards the Penguin relief iund. The Mayor of Wellington states that a mooting of subscribe™ to the relief fund will bo held on Monday night; meanwhile temporary relief is being given where needed.
