WESTPORT MURDER TRIAL.
CrIRISTCHURCH, February 25. At the Supreme Court to-day, Judge Denniston granted an application made by Mr J. A. Cassidy for an order removing the trial of William Connolly, charged with murdering Burke at Westport, from Hokitika to Christchurch. The case is to come on on May 10. Mr Cassidv apneared for the accused and Mr T. W. Stringer, K.C., for the Crown.
