NEW SOUTH WALES LOAN.
Per Press Association—CopyrigM. v LONDON, February M. The sum of £600,000 has been subscribed towards the New South Wales loan, including a largo tender by a Sydney bank. Subscriptions amounting to half a million were withdrawn owing to the unsettled etat«* of the market due to unfavourable news from the - lYear East. Many tenders were withdrawn altogether-, and others were reduced by half. The position of all colonial stocks has been affected by to-day's Argentine issue of 5 per cents at 98.
