The Federal Minister for Defence has prepared a report on the political aspect of the question m connection with the proposed Imperial General Staff, and the suggestion that Australia should raise five divisions of the army which is to guard the Empire. A second report by Colonel Bridges deals exclusively with the military aspect. Both reports have yet to be considered by the Cabinet.
