BRITISH MEDICAL ASSOCIATION.
NAPIER, December 24. The Council of the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association yesterday decided to hold the next annual meeting of the branch m Wellington, and Dr. J. R. Purdy, president of the Wellington division, was unanimously chosen as president-elect for the ensuing year. In the afternoon there was a large attendance at an " At Home" given by Mrs Bernan. The conference resumed m the evening, when papers were read, and the proceedings were not open to the Press.
