The Now Zealand police have received notification from the Chief Secretary of South Australia that a reward of £250 will be given for such information an will lead to the apprehension and conviction of the person or persons guilty of tlie murder of Police Constable William Hyde, at Kensington, Adelaide, on the ingl.it of January 2. The constable wns shot m the head while m pursuit of throe men, whew names arc not known, but who wore (suspected of being about to rob thioflice of the Tramws'.ys Trust at Kensington. The constable was conveyed soon afterwards to the Adelaide Hospital, and died two days later, after being unconscious from tho time of being shot. Beyond the fact that the men were of medium height, wore dark clothes, soft hats, and dark overcoats, practically nothing is known m regard to their appearance.
