MR H. BARNATO'S FORTUNE.

It is understood that the personal estate of the late Mr Henry Isaacs Barnato will be proved at £2,500,000, and that the total amount of the estate will probably be not less than £5 000,000. , , . , , By the will he bequeathed m trust for his daughter, Mrs G. S. Asher and her children, the sum of £1,000,000, together with a life annuity to Mrs AsW of £10,000. * , ■ ♦ ,„ The testator also leaves to his trustees the sum of £250,000 for the purpose of founding a hospital, or other charitable institution, m memory ot his late brother, Barnett Barnato, and his late nephew, Woolf Joel. The trustees have absolute discretion as to the application of the funds, and the fullest powers as to equipment, .endowment, and management of the mstituAfter various legacies to relatives, the testator leaves his interest m the firm of Barnato Brothers to his nephews, Messrs J. B. and S. B. Joel, and the residue of his private estate to Ins daughter, Mrs Asher. Mrs Asher is married to the son ot the late Dr Asher. Mr Asher was, up to the time of his marriage a tew years ago, private secretary TO Lord "Rothschild.
