APPEAL TO A ROAD BOARD.
To the Editor. ' • Sir,—Being a reader of your valuable paper, .1 noticed in your,-issue a few clays ago what to my mind was a very sensible letter regarding the reaggregation of land. If Wakanui can 'boast of this evil, Longbeach district can go one better. I. could tell your correspondent that .even, land greed does not satisfy in this district. A man with 10 or 20 acres of land is not allowed to graze a cow or two on the road, but farmers owning upwards of 1000 acres can graze sheep and horses on the long paddocks. What is our Road Board thinking about? Perhaps they don't notice. When the late .Mr Jolin Grigg was chairman of the Board this injustice would not have been tolerated, and if the present chairman is the gentleman and just man that I always believe him to bo he will not lot these things go unnoticed. Wake up, Road Board, and do your duty. DUM VIVIMUS VIVAMUS.
