The following players have been selected to represent the Timaru Association Football Club in their match against Ashburton on Thursday next on the Park Grounds, Timaru: F. Cave (goal), H. Rollinson and H. Harlow (full-backs), C. Hawkey, J. Miller and E. Budd (half-backs), T. Meikle, W. Budd, G. Auty, C. Budd and A. Horwell (forwards); emergencies, G. Foothead and J. Lawrie.

Store sheep—There was a fair yarding of'store sheep and a large proportion being fairly young, a better demand than of late was witnessed, and prices took a decided rise and a good clearance was the result. .
