HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT,
WELLINGTON, July 27. Tho Department of Industries ■ and Commerce has received tho following cablegram from tho High Commissioner, dated Loudon, July 25: ' . Wool—The wool sales have closed with light conditioned wool at former prices, heavy conditions at Id lower. Stocks are moderate and trade is good, with favourable prospects.' The estimated values are—Fine erossbreds, all grades, ls Id to Is 4d^medium, 102 dto ls Id; coarse, 9d to Is, superior merino, ls to ls 2id; medium, lld to ls Id; inferior, 7-JdtolOd. .. . , , Mossrs Dalgety and Co. Limited, have; received the following cable jnessage from their London Office, dated July 26: " Since our last telegram, frozen lamb prices are lower by par to sd. Frozen mutton prices are firm. Frozen beef prices are a shade easier. . A fair quantity has gone into consumption up to date. Tallow—Since our last telegram, prices for mutton tallow in general are par'to 3d higher; other descripr tions arc unchanged."
