Tbo Dunlop Tyro Company desire to thank all those who assisted in the arrangements for the road race last Saturday.
A Dunedin telegram states that a deputation representing 150 unemployed waited on the Mayor at noon to day, stating that they had had only casual work for the last six months. Mr Braithwaite promised to communicate with the Premier in regard to getting the Mosgiel-Dunedin railway duplication put in hand immediately.
