CYCLING.
Maurice Randrup has accepted the challenge of George Sutherland to ride over three distances—l mile, 3 miles, and 5 miles—for £50 a side, the winner of two out of the three to take the stake. The match is to come off about the end of the present year.
. J. Arnst was presented with a purse of sovereigns at Timaru yesterday. He left Timaru to-day to catch the boat at Wellington. •
