Terrible Atrocities.
Great Damage at Baku.
St. Petersburg, Sept 7 Hooligans are sacking the Jewish shops at Kishinieff, and killing and wounding the inmates. There is much street fighting and 20 soldiers have been killed.
The losses at Baku amount to millions of roubles. Three hundred naphtha wells havß been destroyed.
In anti-Semitic riots at Kaitch, 4 Jews were killed and 200 wounded. Troops fired upon the young Jews who defended the Ghetto. The assailants threw a Jewish tradesman's infant into a 'bonfire made of his own furniture, and the child was burnt alive before the parents' eyes. Other similar atrocities are reported.
