London, Feb. 1 Messrs DalgHty and Co. report having received tho following cable: — The wool salon closed a (shade firmer Prices of scoured merino are on a par with closing rates of last (series. Good greasy merino wools are at par to five per cunc lower, and inferior faulty and earthy greasy are 5 per cent lower. Prices of lino crossbred wools are on a par with closing rates of last series, and medium aad coarse greasy crossbreds are 74 to 10 per cent lower. The total Colonial wool available including old stocks, amounted to one hundred and forty three thousand bales, out of which some seventy three thousand bales have been sold for home consumption, 61,000 bales for the Continent, and 4,000 bales for America, leaving 5,000 to be carried forward to the next series.
