Nelson, Feb. 2 At the Anniversary Day bicycle sports to-day Kandrup put up a New Zealand record 2.0 2-sth for a competition mile,beating Sutherland's of 2min 3 3-5 sees, made on the same traok last; year. R. Arnst lowered the paced mile record for.Nelson made by G. Sutherland last year, by doing the distance in Irain 51sec. Randrup secured the Nelson wheel race price of £30 and the mile. J. Arnst won the two mile scratch, and E. Arnst the three mile handicap.
