New Zealand's New Governor.

The Governor has received word that Lord Plunkett has been appointed Govern* or of New Zealand, in succession to him' self.
[William Lee Plunkett, fifth lord of that name, is a son of the late Archbishop of Dublin. He was born in 1864, and succeeded to the title in 1897. and was for a time engaged in the diplomatic service. He married Lady Victoria, daughter of thef first Marquis of Dufferin and Ava. His Lordship at present holds office as Private Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland.] ■
