City Stakes, 5 furlongs.—Tessera 8.13 (Hewitt) 1, Quickfire 2, Tsa 3. Stepchild also started. Won by four lengths. Time -1.5 2.5 th sec. Div—Jßl Bs.
D.J.C. 'Handicap, 1} mile—Red Gauntlet (King) 1, Blazer 2, De la Rey 3. Sychem al?o started. Woia by three lengths. Time —2.11 5.5 th sec. Div—.£l 14s
