Ip the Magistrate's Court, Albert Champion, bookmaker, was charged with trespassing on ' Wellington racecourse at th§ summer meeting. Mr Kenny held that the defendant had bo claim or right, and that the stewards had authority to make an order. With the i view of allowing the defendant to appeal on general grounds a fine of £5 la and costs was imposed. The creditors of the EJon. G. F. Richardson met to-day, 'Cumrfringa and C»., Waqganui, appearing by counsel,' and the bankrupt was subjected to a' long cross examination. He declared that it was a mistake his entering Parliament and accepting a portfolio as his business went to pieces;
