Received Wakapuaka April 27, 12.20 p.m. ' (3p4«DiAN Office, 12.40 p m. Washington, April 26 Mr McKinley, yielding to pressure by the .Jingoes, has depided to land five thousand American troops, to co-operate with General Gomez, the Ouban insurgent leader. Captain Milburn, of the British Bteamer Myrtle Dean, has been sentenced to death at Havana on a charge of being an American spy. He dared the Spaniards to shoot him, declaring that the city would be immediately destroyed. Captain Milburn was released at the intervention of the British Consul.
LoNpON, April 26 The Spanish torpedo 'boat Andaz, after long detention for repairs, has left Queenstbwb, Iceland.
