A match waa played yesterday between fche Borough .School Cricket Club and the Ashbnrton High School Cricket Club. The Borough School went m first and scored 35—Hosken 13 and Hancox 7 being highest scorers. The High School scored 10$ for fjire wickefs and then declared the ihning3 qlpsed. Steward 43, (not out)) played an expell^nt game, and Charlie D.flghire made a pretty 22. Thp other double figures were—J. Friedlander 16 and E. On 12. The Borough School only made 39 In their second attempt, and the High ?ChP°l thus won by an Innings and 35 runs." For the Borough School, Clark and Birch divided the bowling honors, while J. Friedlander and Anderson bowled /^optionally well for the High SohooT. In LMI D ? friedlander and C. Denature for the High S^hp^l, and Page for the Borough School, werp mo^fe ponspicuous.
