DOMAIN BOARD.
The Council then sat as a Domain Board. In accordance with the report of the Committee it waß decided that for three months the custodian have the sole responsibility of the Domain, at the end of which period, in the event of those duties not being satisfactorily discharged, his engagement be terminated. Mr Paul opposed the motion, disagreeing with the reference to the custodian's discharge. In. the matter of the close days of the Domain the Board adopted the Committee's suggestion and postponed its consideration for one year. The tender of Mr Espy for cutting and carting away trees in the Domain was accepted, and,the Board adjourned.
