London, June 18. The Australians attribute their poor exhibition of batting to the rough state of the Oval, and they make similhr complaints against the ground of the county clubs on which they have played. In the event of Lord Sheffield failing to get together a team to visit Australia next season, it is hoped that the Melbourne aDd Sydney Clubs will arrange for a tour of an English eleven through the Australian colonies.
