Wellington, June 19. The Agent-General cables that he has appointed Mr J. R. Charlton, Inspector of the Veterinary Department, Ireland, and Mr J. A. Gilruth, first prize winner at the Glasgow Veterinary College, as veterinary surgeons for the colony. Dunbdin, June 19. The Scott-Ritchie case has been settled by the Company taking over tha license from Scott, and accepting direct responsibility to Government in respect of the run.
