A match was played ab Rakaia on Saturday between the Southbridge Club and the ilakaia sec«nd fifteen, resulting in a win for the latter by 13 points to ni\ Although considerably lighter than their opponents, the hone team had the game In hand from the start, and tries were obtained by Miller, Shannon (2j, E. Santy, and Dixon, Harvey placing a good goal from the first. In addition to those mentioned Bruce, Bray, Hardy, and A. Street put in some good work for Rakaia, while McMillan, Flood, Tracy, fticEvedy, and Walker were the mainstay of the Southbridge team. The visitors were entertained at the Railway Hotel and spent a very enjoyable evening with the victors. I
