Marian Willis Dramatic Company.
On Friday evening the above company commence a short season of four nights at the Oddfellows' Hall. The piece selected for the first production is the American drama, entitled Erms, in wlvch part Miss Willis has been very successful since her arrival in the colony. Miss Mavian Willis, the head of the organisation referred to is a clever and vers-itilo actress, and brings with her a company of ladies and gentlemen from the prircipil theatres of Melbourne and Sydney, all of whom are artistes of talent, This is Miss "Willis* second vihit to New Zealand, so that play-goers are not ignorant of her ability as an actress. All the striking scene 3in " Erma " are reproduced with fidelity, and the drama has a great deal to recommend it in every respect.
