" The. attendance of farmers and others' was large, and prices realised were satisfactory to vendors. The total entry comprised 7482 sheep, 97 rams. 18 head of cattle, and 10 pjg«, of which we Bold 3639 sheep and 28 rams as follow :—24 merino ewes, 53 Id ; 24 merino ewe% 53 ; 23 fat merino ewes, 7s lid ; 27 fat merino ewes, Gs 7d; 21 crossbred ewes, 2a 6d; 145 crossbred ewes, 5s 8d ; 285 half bred two-tooth wethers, 13s 8d; 90,85; 130, 10s 2d; 109 b»Ubred wethers, 8» sd; 223,10 a 3d; 190
