POLITICAL. | The Cabinet has decided on a scheme by which it is expected to effect a saving of L 120,000 in the Elucation Department. THE DIAMOND ROBBERY. Diamonds of the value of L2OOO, which were stolen from the private residence of Mr Keating, South Yarrs, , on the 14th inst,, have been recovered, ' and two men have been taken into custody on suspicion of being connected with the theft.
