Correspondence was reoeived :— (1) From the County Counoil respecting the county race. — (2) From Mr Oxley, asking permission to ereot a temporary fence m Cridland St. Granted on the condition that the fenoe be approved by the Board and subject to removal at an hour s notice by the Board. — (3) From Mr Brooks re poisoned grain, — (4) From Mr Cambridge on tha nama nnhjaot. It was resolved to replenish tho office furniture.

Accounts were passed for payment for £49 16s Bd.

Tho members went into oemetery business. The Chairman reported his aotion at the Oounoil respecting grants. It waß resolved to apply for a grant of £25 for oemetery purposes. Mr Brimioombe wrote claiming £6 16s for harvesting hay. Messrs Ooster and Turner were appointed to enquire into the matter and settle the same. The meeting then adjourned.
