DANZIG STATUTE
BASIS OF ALTERATIONS
POLAND'S THREE CONDITIONS
NO INCORPORATION IN REICH
(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.) (Received April 28, 12.45 p.m.) WARSAW, April 27. Comment on the conditions under which Poland will accept alterations to the statute of Danzig, to be published tomorrow, declares that the collapse of the League of Nations necessitates new regulation of Danzig's position. Poland will accept alterations on condition (1) that Danzig is not incorporated in Germany's political boundaries; (2) that she shall remain under Polish Customs jurisdiction; (3) that Polish interests and rights in Danzig shall be maintained. It is added that Poland would not interfere in the inner organisation of the political life of the German population. Poland has always believed, and still believes, that understanding can be obtained on this basis.
