New Zealand Team Beats South Africa
WESTERN DESERT, Novembei 8.
The New Zealand Army All Blacks today defeated a South African side b.\ S points to nil. J. L. Sullivan, (Tara naki) scored a try, which L. A. Wecnej (Southland) converted. Wesney also kicked a penalty goal.
Led by P. J. Lyster, who toured Neu Zealand with the 1937 Springboks, the Union side was picked from very limited resources and this was the firs) time its members had played together The New Zealand team contains much splendid ‘ material, specially in the for wards and outside backs, Sullivan be ing an outstanding leader.
