Camp Inspection

The O.C. is a splendid chap, He believes in being tidy, He inspects the tent lines twice a day, Himself and his man Friday. './A ? _•' I' ' \ And it’s just too bad for the personnel Who’s tent is not just so, * There’s no excuse, it serves them right And on the mat they go. They’re up before the Commandant, He let’s them have their say, And when they’re done he rocks them, Just fines them two days’ pay. His latest craze is private cars, - And many rules he’s made, You must line them up, backs to the drain, Like soldiers on parade. Now should you fail to park your car, In the correct and proper manner, The M.T.M. will remove the wheels If they can find a spanner. So now then, chaps, just look alive, And keep the car park tidy, Or otherwise you’ll know the wrath, Of the Commandant and Friday. —J.P., Ngaruawahia Camp.
