Appointment Of Doctors And Nurses
STAFF FOR FIRST VOYAGE
The names of the nurses, doctors and other military officers appointed to the No 1 New Zealand hospital ship Maunganui for its .first voyage were announced on Saturday by the Minister of Defence. Mr Jones. Colonel D. N. W. Murray. Auckland, is Officer Commanding, and associated with him are a surgeon, physician, registrar and bacteriologist (who is also adjutant), a dental officer, and two medical officers. * There are also three chaplains, a quartermaster, and a paymasterassistant adjutant. Lewis is in charge of a nursing staff, uprising four sisters and 15 nurses. The personnel is as follows: — Colonel D. N. W. Murray, C.M.G., D. 5.0.. M. 8.. Ch.B., M.D., Officer Commanding Troops, with the pay of the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. Captain (tern. Major) K. B. Bridge, M. 8., Ch.B., surgeon. Captain M. H. Aiken, M. 8., Ch.B., physician. Captain E. X M. Finlayson, quartermaster Lieutenant J. A. Meade, M. 8., Ch.B., adjutant, registrar, and bacteriologist. Lieutenant A. M. T. Dickie. M. 8., Ch.B., medical officer. Lieutenant K. P. L. MacGregor, M. 8., Ch.B., medical officer. Captain B. D. Vial. 8.D.5., N.Z. Dental Corps, dental officer. Lieutenant W. C. McCarlie, N.Z. Army Pay Corps, paymaster and assistant adjutant. Rev. A. McNeur, chaplain to the forces, 3rd class. N.Z. Chaplains De-' nartment. Rev. O. R. Marlow, chaplain to the forces, 4th class. N.Z. Chaplains Department. ' Rev. IL K.
