APPOINTMENTS TO AND PROMOTIONS IN THE SECOND NEW ZEALAND EXPEDITIONARY FORCE.

The Wellington East Coast Mounted

Rifles.

Captain J. Walsh to be Major. The North Auckland Mounted Rifles.

Captain (temp.) A. McLauchlan, M.C., is granted the temporary rank of Major.

No. 3 (Hauraki) Squadron Mounted

Ernest Cleathing Adams to be Lieutenant, with seniority next below Lieutenant P. R. Henry.

Cornelius Herbert Coakley to be Lieutenant and Quartermaster.

Wililam Henry Patrick Walsh to be 2nd Lieutenant (temp.), and is posted to the 2nd Cadet Battalion.

Captain I. M. Hannah, Ist Battalion, is granted the temporary rank of Major.

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) A. W. Reynolds, Ist Battalion, is granted the temporary rank of Major.
