Men Killed And Wounded

The following air casualties were announced yesterday: —

Pilot Officer Jack Milton Cave, killed on air operations. Father: Mr. M. K. Cave, Tirau, Rotorua Line.

Sergeant Arthur Fraser Dallas, ILN.Z.A.F., killed on air operations. Mother: Mrs. Sid. Dallas, Hunterville. Main Trunk line.

Sergeant Douglas Lawrence Burton, R.N.Z.A.F., previously reported missing, now reported by International Red Cross prisoner of war, wounded, in hospital. Father: Mr. J. L. Burton, Domett Street, Opunake.

Pilot Officer Maurice George Baird, previously reported missing, now reported by International Red Cross prisoner of war, uninjured. Father: Mr. William Baird. 14 Morris Street, Napier.

Sergeant Douglas Owen Stanley. R.N.Z.A.F., died in hospital on October 27 from injuries received in flying accident. Mother: Mrs. W. O. Stanley. Tui Street, Matamata.

Sergeant Robert Older, R.N.Z.A.F., killed in aircraft accident. Mother: Mrs. R. Johnson, Broon, Bidford-on-Avon, Warwickshire.
