DANCING.
As announced in our advertising columns, Miss Phyllis Bates, the wellknown Wellington teacher of dancing, is commencing Saturday afternoon classes at a nominal charge for men in uniform. Partners will be available, so these classes will not only provide an opportunity for spending a sociable Saturday afternoon, but they will also help those men who at present miss a lot of fun because they cannot dance or can’t do the modern dancing. Miss Bates is an excellent hostess and has the happy knack of creating an informal atmosphere and making people feel at home. She quite realises that men from camp, with serious business ahead, do not want to become competition dancers, so the classes will strike a happy medium between tuition and entertainment. The classes commence on Saturday, 13th April, and men interested are welcome to call at the studio and make inquiries either on or before that date.
