OFFICERS OF SPECIAL GROUP

Engineers Appointed Three widely-experienced engineers of the Public Works Department have been appointed, to the special railway survey and construction group which is to be attached to the second New Zealand Expeditionary Force for service overseas. The unit will be commanded by Mr. J. E. Anderson, resident engineer of the department x in Christchurch, while Mr. T. C. V. Rabone, resident engineer in Auckland, and Mr. R. H. Packwood, district engineer in Whangarei, will be in charge of the construction and survey companies respectively, each with the rank of major.
