Recreation on Leave
A worth-while organisation is the A.N.A. (Army, Navy and Air Force), formed by a competent band of sociable men and women to entertain men of all ranks whilst on leave in Wellington. . The A.N.A. is really a club, with rooms in R.S.A. Rooms, 12 Victoria Street, and parties, suppers and dances, with partners found for . all visitors, are regularly held. Over 2000 men of all branches of the fighting forces have already enjoyed the Club’s hospitality, and a full programme of entertainments has been arranged for some weeks ahead. It is emphasised that a reasonable degree of punctuality in attending functions should be exercised in order to avoid inconvenience to . voluntary helpers, some of whom travel long distances to assist. The Club is managed by a committee consisting of Messrs. F. E. Bailey (Chairman), and A. McNaughton R C. Burton, W. D. Gordon, J. Murray j E. C. Hale, B. Joyce; and Mesdantf ! W. E. Barnard, E.
