Mrs. G. Ryde, of Cooper’s Creek, Oxford, was recently presented with a 30-year Long Service Badge by the Dominion Corresponding Secretary, Mrs. F. M. Mitchell. Mrs. Comyns and Mrs. Allan, officers of the Oxford branch, accompanied Mrs. Mitchell on this visit to Mrs. Hyde’s home as she is, through failing health, not able to be present at the meetings of the Union. Appreciation of Mrs. Hyde’s service to the Union was expressed byMrs. Mitchell.
